This should just prove
You can't trust all you hear.

I don't need you, my sweet,

I'll spew out these lies,

Seemingly with ease.



But,
These lies that I've deceived you with,
Burn like a thousand suns

On my aching tongue.


You're fulfilling my desires,
You're grovelling at my feet.

My darkest of all sins:
The epitome of deceit.

I'm completely unrepentant,
I can't change my ways.
  
I wonder if you notice that
I'm lying to your face.

Maybe you do know,
But you hide your shame.

Rule one:
There's no room,
For an ounce of what's true.

Don't break this one rule,
Whatever you do.

Or maybe you're oblivious,
You don't know how I lie,
Just believe what I say.

And with it, I toy around.
